1.Product Introduction
Fiber reinforced coupling
AIOFLEX flexible coupling is a very strong, durable, stable and reliable coupling. The body is made of high-quality elastomer covered with a high-strength fiber coil reinforcement structure.
The coupling body can be combined with alloy steel forged flanges or flywheels to form an assembly, suitable for various mechanical equipment and various industries. It can be used in any place and can transmit torque output safely and smoothly, eliminate resonance, and provide comprehensive protection for mechanical equipment.
AIOFLEX products have a third-party inspection unit, SGS, issue reports, and pass the torsion impact test (1,000,000 times starts or sudden stops)

3.Forged flange
The triangle-shaped flange is forged from high-quality alloy steel with material certification. The inner hole diameter can be processed to suit your needs. Including various mechanical requirements such as keyway/slot or multi-spline groove. Other special triangle shapes can also be customized (Larger machining apertures can be provided like triangle fixtures.)
The flange is rust-proof and protected by electroplating coating. It has the advantages of easy storage, anti-rust, anti-corrosion, and not easy to peel off after painting, especially in corrosive environments. Suitable for food processing industry, biogas fermentation tank, salted area, agriculture and fishery industry and other marine industries that require excellent anti-rust performance.
The screw used to connect the flange and the coupling body is a high-rigidity 12.9 screw with a tensile strength of 1200Mpa and a gasket with a hardness of 300HV.
The screws are pre-coated with anti-loosening screw glue or matched with medium-strength screw glue to prevent the screws from loosening. When you need to replace the coupling, you only need to loosen the coupling screw, without disassembling the metal flange parts, and the operation is simple.

4.Coupling series
AIOFLEX flexible coupling series has 7 standard sizes.
Each size provides 3 types of variations.
The torque range is from 100Nm-20000Nm.
The aperture of the flange group can be processed to cover all the shaft centers, and it can be operated independently during installation, and it is not necessary to remove the flange during repair and only replace the coupling body.
AFC 100 D
Flywheels, pulleys or gears on existing equipment can be retrofitted with unilateral couplings, which is very beneficial for future product life and maintenance.
AFC 100 S
This type of coupling is mainly connected to engine flywheel shaft equipment, such as generators and gearboxes. The flywheel is standardized and conforms to the SAE 620 J standard.
AFC 100 F
AIOFLEX flanges all have pilot holes. You can adjust the size of the aperture to your specific needs, and match the key and keyway to connect with the object. The keyway can be processed according to DIN6885-1 or ASME B17.1 standards.

6.Principles of fiber reinforcement
AIOFLEX coupling's unique internal high-strength and high-tension fiber coil design allows mechanical torque to be transmitted between the fiber coils and offset all vibrations.
Rubber provides fiber coil protection and interrupts noise transmission. The overall effect of shaft position correction, torque transmission, anti-vibration, noise blocking, and electrical insulation.
Advantages of fiber reinforced coupling

8.Torque transmission description


The max torque
The maximum torque output (Max torque) refers to the maximum torque generated during the gear shift or acceleration or emergency braking during operation when the machine is started or stopped. It will be generated regularly or irregularly when the machine is running. The torque can be transmitted by the coupling.
The normal torque
The normal torque value is the standard torque output value set by the coupling. There is no problem with power transmission.
The maximum operating speed of the coupling in the working environment temperature range (-40∘C to 100∘C)
Maximum torque of coupling (Torque limit)
This value is 5 times the torque of the normal output. Generally speaking, the machine under normal operation will not produce this value, unless the machine fails, abnormal operation, the coupling is damaged, or the screw is broken. If this happens, replace the coupling body and all screws.
Vibrating torque
If the output of the machine is a continuous torque output, you should use this as the basis for the data to select a suitable coupling.
